project evaluation
My project is based on homeless people. My aim was to show other people the homeless living on the streets and the impacts people have or had.
I spent two days researching for homeless in York and Manchester. I had taken loads of pictures using digital and film camera. I had one to one conversation with some of the homeless people. I gained the experience of how they live their life's on daily basis and how rough it is living on the streets.
I have created a 10x8 frame using. My four selected homeless picture that I had researched.
I researched various photographers for my project. My strengths were meeting and socialising with the homeless. I felt slightly petrified and I overcome this by being strong this by being strong and asking questions if they were happy to talk to me I enjoyed talking.
My weakness -I felt a little uncomfortable taking the pictures as some people did not want their face photo taken, this made aware of their emotions and feelings that they were dis-hearted and lonely.
I enjoyed creating my final frame and if I was to create this again I would improve on taking more photos on the film camera. I would also use more text and images on the frame overall I was satiation with my finial out come.

location shoots
I went to Manchester to take photos of homeless people I wanted to do it for my final project. It was hard at first because some of them would let me take but the photo here he let me take a photo of him but I got camera shake so the photo different come out as good if come out blued but you can see he is homeless. I am not using this photo because of the blurriness and the sun shining I the background.
This photo was taken in the some place as the first one but different side of Manchester. I use film camera but it didn't come out so good you can the person begging but the rain shows up on the photo.
I used 400 and ISO was 100 .
This photo was taken in the city centre I changed some of the photo to make the homeless guy side out in the pubic and to make people aware of homeless.

final images
I chose this picture as one my final images because of the reflection in the window.
The technical side of this photo was manual with flash on to the texture side of the photo coming out. The shutter speed was f 11 it brought the picture out bright and clear.
For my final presentation I'm going to be using fames 10 by 8.
this picture projects emotion with the way the person has to sleep on the streets. I use manual again so get the picture in focus and the setting of the shutter speed was F 11.
I am going to famed this in colour to show imitation in the picture.
this black and white image shows a lot of imitation in the face of the homeless person.
I am going keep this in black and white because if brings out the effect of the person being sad and lonely.
I use auto because when i use manual it wouldn't pick up it was to dark and blued.
the texture of this picture is the background it bring out the old bricks in to the photo witch makes the picture look old.
one plant in a pot to show the loss of a homeless person who died on the streets.
I did this picture on film camera I thought it would look good in a frame. The setting was 400 and the ISO was 120. You have to move it around to the get the perfect picture to come out.
The flower is bright and the background is black and white witch its bring the photo out.

black and white photos
I changed the exposure to darker levels for a more focus and impact . In Photoshop I opened the history brush tool and model a lighter line to direct focus onto the centre of the image and to make people aware of him sleeping.
scanning negatives into the program Photoshop and uploaded the originals to my blog. I am going to manipulate some to change the effect and the emotion of the picture.
EVALUATION
The homeless of photographs and target audience I choose to do theses in black and white after viewing work of Steven huff . In black and white the images stand out clearly and give a feeling of how black and cold ,lonely and sad their world is.
I enjoyed doing this after initially feeling a bit awkward and once I had talked to them I felt much better about taken photos of them. The pictures come out really well, some images are striking in black and white .
I feel I did a good job and really enjoyed photographing the homeless people. I would not use colour for these photographs.
If I were to do this again I would go to other cities not just Manchester.I would considering visiting London, Liverpool, Glasgow and maybe Scotland and Wales depending on my time scale as I would like to meet the homeless people there.
My audience would be the public because I am really disgusted that in the 21st century, People still accept the fact there are homeless people. our government who one there to represent what we all want just close their eyes to this and that thoroughly disgusts me.

york trip
This picture was taken in York while on a college trip . I had go around York and try and find homeless people in the town. My purpose was to explore homeless life on living on the streets. I took three different sets of photos of this man in different passion and they all come out good and all in focus.
One of the student brought him a coffee because she felt unhappy seeing him on the streets.people were just walking past and ignoring him .
he has been living rough for about 2 years he gets food and water from a shelter in a local church. he become homeless because his mum passed away and the local council took his home off him. he looks like he as been surviving on the streets.

location homeless
been sleeping in shop doors and bus shelters.
He didn't want his face showing when i took the photography this why photo was taken from the side.
I was rushing a bit in the second picture thats why the image look exposed next time i will make sure the camera is kept still.
I think the first one is a lot better because you can see the image clearer.
This guy had become homeless after leaving the army due to mental illness, i.e due to not being able to live in a house with four walls. he has her drug addiction and has for a long time.
I told the guy to stand up so i can get a full image of him. because i wanted a picture of his clothes.
i will get a close up one next time so you can see his face.
