fashion magazine

The original mods were art students and working class teenagers, their main aim in life was to look good, the right clothes from head to toe often long before anyone else got the latest fashion.
The magazine is aimed at men mostly because I am doing a photoshoot of mod 1960s fashion.
Pictures are used to advertise men's suits based on the 1960s designs. The photographs have been  taken in and about of London town. models have been uses to advertise the garments. This design is similar to what I would design because of the suits used in the photos shown.

A modern example of mod style closely linked to London night-life, suits with a touch of casual to create a sharp look.
The above design is modern as the latest designs are used. target audience is early 30's. picture looks like it is used on a billboard as the images are zoomed out. models are used fashion models/ working men. hard lighting is used on the pictures to make the models stand out. not similar because of location.

Take the leading man of current mood movement. each in their own way icons musician Miles Kane , actor Martian Freeman and Tour de France winning cyclist Bradley Wiggins.
The design look like Fred perry because Fred perry t shirt is shown in the image. Target audience are teenagers as jeans are shown. photographers are used base in a shed selling bikes and parts / models are teenagers soft lighting is used  on the images. This design is similar to the photo shoot I am doing in the studio because the fashion is mod fashion.

evaluation

     Evaluation

I was taking pictures of glass and went in dark room and printed them black and white. The black and white prints am happy with them because come out as expected. I was unhappy with the colour prints  because print did not work as good due to the exposure  of the settings on the camera.

I have learnt to produce two images into one. I did this by putting a photograph of two people into a clear glass bottle. I enjoyed this because I could drag the image and put it into the bottle.

I did research  on different photographers to help with using techniques and how I can use these techniques i.e Simon Bruntnell and Andy Glass. I looked at images of glass and I produced glass mood board.  I took in  this photo Batley at a bus stop near my house this photo was taken at 6am in the morning. I like the way the lights shine off the bus shelter you can see the shadow.

First thing I did was upload the photos to photo shop. Copied the first photo using crop tool. quick selection tool. ctrl c ctrl v on second photo (bottle). Free transform in edit to make photo 1 to fit in photo 2. opacity to bring the glass forward 75% then saved in photo. This technique was very helpful in helping create this image.

Overall I enjoyed designing and creating the glass bottle image and learning the technique method because I liked researching for the images.

I disliked the colour of enlarging my photo due to the light exposure settings. To avoid this next I would double check my settings and do a sample print.

I took this photo at a bus stop near my house this photo was taken at 6am in the morning. I like the way the lights shine off the bus shelter you can see the shadow.
This picture is dark and all you can see is the shadow of the light I tried taking the photo early but its was raining so I thought it was the best one to choose . I like the shadow because it reflex  with the light on the car.

bottle images

First thing I did was upload the photos to photo shop. Croped the first photo using crop tool. quick selection tool. ctrl c ctrl v on second photo (bottle). Free transform in edit to make photo 1 to fit in photo 2. opacity to bring the glass forward 75% then saved in photo.
I did the some thing on the first to the second picture it was fun trying to but the images in the bottle and learning new techniques about how to do it and learn the easy way on some of the photos I did.
We went in the studio to photograph some photo and try different things to try and fit in to a bottle and I choose some of the my class mates. The idea was to make it look like they was trying to get out and i made it look fun by telling them to pull funny faces.

glass Christmas task

I used filter gallery to manipulate and change the effect of my original photograph.

I went to filter gallery used the sponge tool to manipulate my original photograph and brushes were 4,1 and 6

Through adjustments I changed the colour balance to purple.
I used brush size 301, the liquidise tool , and moved it all around to alter my photograph

Though palette 9, stroke size 32 and stroke detail 3 I manipulated the image I had taken of the building.

I used brush strokes 301 and 100 with the liquidiser tool too manipulate my photograph.

I used the liquefy tool on the photograph. The brush size I uses was 3601 and brush pressure 100.  I then changed the colour I used adjustments and then colour balance.

I used under painting for my picture I change the picture in to black and white. brush size 37
scaling 77 relief 18.

I changed the picture by using photo filter and trying different things to the picture.

The way i changed the picture is liquefy  and using dry brush to make picture light in some areas and dark in other areas.
